Connect Querri to Amplitude and ask questions about your product events, users, sessions and revenue in plain language.

Overview

The Amplitude connector uses a project’s API key and secret key to read that Amplitude project, and copies its data into Querri. Each kind of Amplitude data becomes a source in your Library. It’s listed under Analytics.

Setup

Before you start

  • The project’s API key and secret key. In Amplitude, they’re under Settings > Projects > your project > General. Amplitude shows the secret key only once, when it’s generated. If you’ve lost it, create a new one in the project settings.
  • Your data region. Know whether your Amplitude organization is hosted in the United States or the EU data center.

Connecting to Amplitude

  1. Open the connector. Click Connect in the app rail and pick Amplitude in Add data, or click Connect on Amplitude in Settings → Connectors (admins).

  2. Enter your details:

  3. Save. Click Save. There’s no separate test step: Querri checks the keys with Amplitude first, and creates the connector only if they work. If they don’t, nothing is saved and the dialog shows the reason. When it works, the dialog closes and you’ll see “Amplitude connected”.

  4. Load your data. Open the connector in the Library by clicking it under Connectors in the browse panel. If nothing has loaded yet, you’ll see “Amplitude is connected, but no data has loaded yet.” Click Load data now. Only the connector’s owner can start a load.

  1. API Key: identifies the Amplitude project.
  2. Data Region: where your Amplitude organization is hosted.

What syncs

The first load brings in all of these:

AreaData
EventsEvents (raw event data), Events List (tracked event types with total volumes)
UsersActive Users and New Users (daily counts), Sessions, Sessions per User, Session Length Distribution
AnalyticsRevenue, Revenue LTV, Retention, Cohorts

Date-based data covers the last 30 days. Each sync fetches the most recent 30 days, not the project’s full history.

Keeping data fresh

The connector’s owner can set a schedule on its Schedule tab. Amplitude doesn’t support incremental syncs, so use Full Refresh. A daily schedule keeps the 30-day window rolling forward.

Troubleshooting

The keys are rejected

Check that the API key and secret key come from the same project. Then check Data Region: Querri calls Amplitude’s US or EU address depending on your choice, so it has to match where your organization is hosted.

Older data is missing

Querri fetches the last 30 days. Older events and daily figures won’t appear.

Syncs take a long time

Amplitude limits how much data its APIs return at once, so Querri fetches large event exports in pieces and paces its requests.

Security & permissions

  • Project keys, not a person’s login. Querri connects with the project’s API key and secret key, not with anyone’s own username and password.
  • One project. The connector reads only the project those keys belong to.
  • Querri keeps a copy. Synced data is stored in Querri. Disconnecting deletes the data the connector synced.
  • Sharing the connector is up to its owner, on the connector’s Sharing tab.
