Connect Querri to HubSpot and ask questions about your contacts, companies, deals and tickets in plain language.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The HubSpot CRM connector signs in with HubSpot and copies your CRM records into Querri’s own storage. There’s nothing to set up: the connector’s Configuration tab says “No additional configuration is required for this connector.”
Querri answers from that copy, so your records are as fresh as the last sync.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- A HubSpot account that’s allowed to approve access for apps
- Pop-ups allowed for Querri, since HubSpot’s sign-in opens in its own window
Connecting
Section titled “Connecting”- Click Connect in the app rail to open Add data, and pick HubSpot CRM. Admins can also click Connect on it in Settings → Connectors.
- HubSpot’s sign-in window opens. Sign in, pick the HubSpot account if you have more than one, and approve access.
- There’s nothing more to set up. The connector lands in the workspace you’re in if you’re a member of it, or in your private workspace otherwise.
- Check that data loaded. Click the connector under Connectors in the Library’s browse panel. If it says the connector “is connected, but no data has loaded yet”, click Load data now to run a full sync. Only the connector’s owner can start a load.
What Querri asks HubSpot for
Section titled “What Querri asks HubSpot for”- Read access to CRM objects (the
crm.objects.*.readscopes) - Tickets (
tickets) - Forms (
forms), which is optional
Querri doesn’t ask for HubSpot’s analytics.
Asking about HubSpot data
Section titled “Asking about HubSpot data”Once records have loaded, they’re sources in your Library. Ask about them as you would any other source:
- “How many deals closed this month, by owner?”
- “Which companies have open deals over $10,000?”
- “How many new contacts did we add each week this quarter?”
Keeping HubSpot data fresh
Section titled “Keeping HubSpot data fresh”The connector’s owner can schedule refreshes on its Schedule tab. Use Full Refresh, which reloads everything and picks up records deleted in HubSpot. Every Day suits most teams.
Scheduled syncs use credits when they run. Syncs you start by hand don’t. See Sync Scheduling.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Sign-in fails
Section titled “Sign-in fails”- Allow pop-ups for Querri.
- Check that you’re signing in to the right HubSpot account.
- If HubSpot won’t let you approve the app, ask your HubSpot admin for permission to connect apps.
No data after connecting
Section titled “No data after connecting”Click the connector under Connectors in the Library’s browse panel. If it says no data has loaded yet, the connector’s owner can click Load data now.
”Your authentication has expired”
Section titled “”Your authentication has expired””Open the connector and click Reauthenticate. Don’t disconnect it: disconnecting deletes the data it synced.
Data isn’t updating
Section titled “Data isn’t updating”- Open the Schedule tab. If it says Schedule Paused, or that the schedule was auto-disabled after failures, fix the cause and switch it back on.
- If there’s no schedule, create a Full Refresh schedule.
Records are missing
Section titled “Records are missing”- Check that the HubSpot account you signed in with can see those records in HubSpot.
- Changed or deleted records stay as they were until the next full refresh.
Security
Section titled “Security”- You sign in on HubSpot’s own page, so Querri never sees your HubSpot password.
- Sign-in tokens are kept out of logs and out of the browser.
- Synced data is stored in Querri. Disconnecting deletes it.
Revoking access
Section titled “Revoking access”- In Querri, open the connector and click Disconnect, followed by its name. Once you confirm, Querri deletes the connector and the data it synced.
- In HubSpot, remove Querri from your connected apps.
Next Steps
Section titled “Next Steps”- Business Applications: other apps you can connect
- Sync Scheduling: full refresh schedules
- Managing Connections: change, refresh and remove connectors
